Fifty-seven runners, comprising EXCO members and head office employees, took part in the inaugural run. The event was graced by the presence of Rainer Ruppel, President Director of B. Braun Indonesia, who gave a warm welcome and flagged off the race. Runners enthusiastically jogged around GOR Soemantri Brojonegoro, covering a minimum distance of 1 kilometer. Prior to the run, all participants joined a warm-up session led by Arya Wardhana, Corporate Communication Assistant Manager, to ensure optimal physical condition.

"This kick-off is not merely the beginning of a running program, but also a momentum for us to commit to a healthy lifestyle and care for the environment," said Rainer Ruppel in his speech.

The B. Braun Charity Run 2024 is a three-month virtual event, running from August 1 to October 31, 2024. B. Braun Indonesia challenges all its employees to collectively run a total distance of 10,000 kilometers. This remarkable distance will be converted into a donation of Rp75,000,000, which will be contributed to various nature conservation and preservation activities in Indonesia.

To achieve this goal, B. Braun Indonesia encourages all employees to form teams of three runners. By forming teams, it is hoped that strong collaboration among employees will be fostered, with members supporting and motivating each other to achieve their common goal. Additionally, running together is expected to strengthen relationships among colleagues.
