B. Braun Indonesia successfully hosted the B. Braun Indonesia Charity Race 2024 at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), with the theme “Run for Wellness, Run for a Cause”.
On November 17, 2024, B. Braun Indonesia successfully hosted the B. Braun Indonesia Charity Race 2024 at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII). With the theme “Run for Wellness, Run for a Cause”, the event attracted over 200 in-person participants and more than 100 virtual participants. Colleagues from B. Braun across Indonesia ran through the beautiful cultural landscapes from Sabang to Merauke in the 2.5K and 5K race categories.
This event marked the culmination of the B. Braun Indonesia Charity Run 2024, which took place from August to October 2024. During this period, B. Braun Indonesia employees collectively ran a total distance of 22,500 KM, unlocking a donation box worth IDR 100,000,000. These funds will be directed towards environmental conservation efforts in Indonesia.
The primary goal of this event was to inspire Indonesian families to adopt healthy lifestyles and raise awareness about the importance of environmental preservation. B. Braun Indonesia employees, along with their friends and families, participated in the final challenge. Besides promoting physical health, this moment also served to strengthen family bonds and foster connections among B. Braun Indonesia colleagues.
The event was inaugurated by the President Director of B. Braun Indonesia, Rainer Rupell, at the Museum Indonesia area of TMII. Health insurance partners Zurich, Halodoc, and the environmental conservation foundation Wastehub were also present. In the provided tents, B. Braun Indonesia employees and their families could participate in mini medical checkups, including cholesterol, uric acid, and blood sugar tests. In addition, all participants in collaboration with Wastehub succeeded in categorizing residual waste from activities based on type, so that more than 100kg of waste could be collected which could be recycled.
Participants in the 5K race category had the opportunity to compete for podium positions. The men's podium was claimed by Edi Ramdhani, Imam Solikhin, and Irsyad Rifqi Abdillah, while the women's podium was secured by Evi Mariana Suherman, Intan Kemala Putri, and Putry Julianis. In addition to receiving awards as the fastest runners, podium winners also received prizes worth millions of rupiah. The event was further enlivened by a door prize draw with attractive rewards.
As a globally managed family company, B. Braun Indonesia is committed to continuously inspiring Indonesian families to maintain environmental responsibility and physical health through various innovative initiatives. It is hoped that the healthy habits formed over the past few months will continue, enabling B. Braun Indonesia employees to maintain their health and inspire their communities to do the same.
Let’s keep running for health and environmental preservation!
